It's a good thing, if used correctly. Friends/Fans/Followers aren't all created equally. Some would Like, try to understand and appreciate the benefits of social media and others will choose not to. The choice is yours, and that's great thing.
I agree. There are definite benefits to social media (for those who know how to use it as a tool).
